It's probably the most highly anticipated start of any season in recent years.
We're all waiting to see Lattimore back on the field, how much Clowney has improved, and who will step up after the losses of Alshon Jeffery and Stephon Gilmore.
All the hype over this much improved Commodores team still hasn't generated enough interest to sell out the 39,730 seats in Vanderbilt Stadium. The Gamecocks had almost that many fans show up at their last preseason scrimmage.
Still, Carolina has historically struggled against the 'Dores, so nobody is taking this game lightly. But fans stuck at home will no doubt be glued to their TV's and on the edge of their seats for a solid three hours tonight.
And I'll be one of them!

I hope this guy gets so tired of waving this flag this year...
Hopefully the void left will be filled again.
